Alabama wide receiver Isaiah Bond may not stick around to become the University of Alabama's next head coach.
according to nick kelly's tuscaloosa news, Bond entered the transfer portal and submitted the necessary paperwork to consider his options. As of noon Friday, Bond's name had not yet been officially posted on the portal, Kelly said.
Under new NCAA rules, if a coach resigns or is fired, players have a 30-day grace period to enter the transfer portal. That's not to say Bond can't go back yet, but at least he's exploring his options.
