Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III exposed to intense surveillance Regarding his long hospitalization and failure to disclose his incapacitation.

On Thursday, Dr. Casey Wardynski, who served as assistant secretary of the Army for manpower and reserves under President Trump, told WVNN's “Yaffee Program” that the situation is serious.

“If you can't participate in nuclear command and control, which is an essential function, that's a huge gap in the chain of command that can't be bridged,” Wardynski said. “And you have a lieutenant [Secretary of Defense] I think it was on vacation in Puerto Rico, and he didn't even know he was helpless. It is clear that he did not delegate authority, which is a serious problem and a dereliction of duty. ”

Waldiski believes this is just the latest example of the Biden administration's incompetence.

“Frankly, it all comes down to how elected leaders behave,” he argued. “We're probably going to be in a state of presidential incompetence for months, if not years. We have the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution to deal with this, but it's clear that the government is running this country. It is a failure that is operating. And my guess is, [Secretary of Defense] Looking at it, I don't understand why he would say that. [Biden] Anyway, there's no one home over there. ”

He said this is not the Trump administration's approach.

“They always knew where I was,” he explained. “And if something happened in Washington, I was probably 42nd in line to become Secretary of Defense…These people, you know where [Secretary of Defense] At any given time, they know where the lieutenant is [Secretary of Defense] At all times, they always know where the president is…maybe the White House has instilled a culture that it's not that important to have daily contact from Austin or to know where the hell he is. Maybe. ”

Wardynski said he did not know whether Austin would ultimately have to resign because of the situation.

“If we fire Austin, we probably won't elect a new secretary of defense,” he said. “I think he's a terrible person, but you'll probably find someone worse. I think this is really a reflection on the president, and Austin might be the guy to catch that bullet, but this whole thing is about It goes back to the guy running the country. I don't know who. Conceptually it's Biden, and he's built a government in which this is not an anomaly.”
