James Comey’s Recent Confession about Taylor Swift

Whatever lingering reputation James Comey had seems to have vanished entirely.

In a video shared on social media this past Sunday, the former FBI director, who is now notably controversial, expressed his admiration for Taylor Swift and her music. He detailed how she has inspired him to be a staunch opponent of Donald Trump.

In the video, Comey stated, “I’m not advocating for weakness. We certainly need to stand up against those who challenge our values. However, it’s crucial to do so without stooping to their level.” He mentioned that Swift has been vocal about Trump’s nature and has encouraged Americans not to make the error of electing him. “Now we’re all feeling the repercussions of that choice,” he added.

Although Comey is potentially facing charges related to his actions during the Trump-Russian investigation, the backlash from his video might require a response as well.

The former FBI director doesn’t seem to grasp the concept of being cringeworthy. His fondness for Taylor Swift is certainly turning heads. There’s something to be said about keeping personal tastes under wraps. Many think that if you enjoy Taylor Swift, it’s best not to broadcast it. The general guideline seems to be to maintain a level of indifference towards her, both publicly and privately. After all, don’t have lyrics memorized when they play in the background at home or in the car, and certainly don’t follow Comey’s lead by posting about it online.
