‘It’s Disgusting’: ‘The View’ Co-Host Sara Haines Says She’s ‘Ashamed’ Of Democrats

“The View” co-host Sara Haines said it's “embarrassing” that Democrats are urging voters to “shut up and comply” over concerns about President Joe Biden.

Haines criticized Democrats for dismissing Biden's debate performance as a “bad night” rather than treating it as a real concern. She compared the Democrats' “submissive” approach to the Republicans.

“you [Joy Behar] “Nobody knows what's going to happen. We're all just making our best guesses,” he said in the commercial. “So I ask all Biden supporters to ease up on the pressure on those of us who are flying the flag for the same reasons, but with a different mindset, because everyone is saying, 'We're not going to let this go.'

“What do you mean?” co-host Sunny Hostin asked.

“What I'm saying is, there are a lot of people who think this is serious and who are speaking out like me, but a lot of people are trying to silence us by saying, 'It was a bad night. Shut up and comply.' That's the Republican way. As a Democrat, actually an independent who votes Democrat, I find it embarrassing that they're telling us to bow our heads and shut up. I find it disgusting,” Haines continued.

Democrats and liberal media outlets are increasingly calling for Biden to withdraw, arguing that he does not have the mental strength to defeat former President Donald Trump or serve a second term. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, in an interview on “Morning Joe” on Wednesday, said it was up to Biden whether he wanted to continue in the election, and refrained from firmly defending him. NBC News reporter Chuck Todd said Wednesday that senior Cabinet members have told him Biden “cannot be re-elected like this” in 2022. ABC News reporter George Stephanopoulos, who interviewed Biden after the debate, told an unnamed person he didn't think the president could serve another four years.

The president and his supporters have repeatedly insisted he was simply “feeling sick” and had a cold, even though no illness was mentioned before the debate.

Polls show that Trump has gained an even larger lead since the debate and continues to lead the president by a small margin.
