Radio host Charlamagne the God told ABC News host Jonathan Karl on Sunday that Vice President Kamala Harris lost the election because voters opposed former President Donald Trump on the border and the economy. He said it was because he trusted him more.
President-elect Trump gained support from both black and Hispanic voters in pre-election polls, thanks in large part to the economy and immigration, and early Wednesday secured the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency. Charlamagne told Karl that many voters are thinking about whether they are financially well off and whether they are safe. “It’s literally so simple. Every day, people wake up and just want to have more money in their pocket and feel more secure. Whether you’re black, white, gay, straight… It doesn’t matter what your religion is, these are the two things you think about every day: How can I keep money in my pocket and how can I keep it safe?” he said. “And when you look at issues like the economy and borders, that’s what I was telling people when we had this conversation in February. I was having conversations with people and they were saying to me, Oh my God.” These gangs are coming into our neighborhoods and I know it’s because of the border, we have to close the border, they’re having conversations like this. Like it was. ”

“It was the first time in my life that I heard black and brown people in my community having these conversations,” Charlamagne added. “So, that’s going to be a problem. They felt like things were safer. They felt that the border was safer under the Trump administration. By the way, the Democrats are going to It’s not that they didn’t want it, they just didn’t know how to convey it properly.”
Trump gained support from both Hispanic and black voters in pre-Election Day polls, largely because these voters praised him for his handling of the economy and immigration. Although Harris regained some support from Hispanic voters in pre-election polls after replacing President Joe Biden, she still fell short of Biden’s numbers in both pre-election polls and exit polls in the 2020 election. There wasn’t.
“Building a wall may sound elementary, but do you know what it tells people? Border security. That’s it. Nothing more, nothing less.” Magne said. “We need to have the most comprehensive border plan and not complicate things by saying there was a bipartisan border bill that Democrats and Republicans couldn’t agree on and Donald Trump vetoed it. Please. No, Trump is saying build a wall.” (Click here to watch the Daily Caller documentary “Demand for Hate”)
“And when they said it doesn’t matter, you all said no. It doesn’t matter,” Charmagne continued. “Let’s create sanctuary cities and welcome people into our cities. And what did they say when they started putting illegal immigrants on buses and planes to sanctuary cities?” No, don’t come. So it looked like Republicans were right and Democrats were wrong. ”
