CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings criticized Democrats on Tuesday for plans to travel to El Salvador to defend the revival of Maryland residents and MS-13 gang member Kilmer Abrego Garcia.
A Democrat led by Democrat Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen said he will travel to El Salvador to secure Garcia’s release. It has been reported. Jennings of “Arena” said the strategy would hurt Democrats. (Related: “It’s crazy”: Trump shoots CNN over border coverage during a press conference with El Salvador leader)

“Our opposition is now trying to organize a delegation of Congress to go to El Salvador and bring illegal aliens back to the US,” Jennings said. “Political crazy!”
President Donald Trump faced Repulsion The Democrats accidentally deported Garcia back his country. The Supreme Court has determined that the US should “promote” the return of gang members, but the Trump administration argues that it is not necessary.
An off-camera panelist said Garcia was “not criminally charged,” suggesting that he has not received the “legitimate process” that he is entitled to.
“If you want to die on this hill, be my guest,” Jennings said. “It is a political malpractice to send Congressional Democrats to El Salvador to retrieve illegal aliens.”
“It’s his state senator,” the off-camera panelist said. “He’s from Maryland… he lived in Maryland.”
Jennings objected that Van Hollen was a senator of Garcia because he was “from El Salvador.”
The Trump administration has said that Garcia, the El Salvadoran National, should remain in his home country due to its relationship with MS-13 and previous deportation orders from 2019.
El Salvador President Naive Buquere said in a meeting with Trump on Monday that he would not return Garcia to the United States.
“How can I smuggle? How can I get him back to the US? Of course, smuggle him into the US? Of course, I’m not going to do that,” Bukere said.
According to court records, the immigration and customs enforcement agency arrested Garcia, who illegally entered the United States in 2011 and deported him to El Salvador. The Trump administration has admitted that his deportation was a administrative mistake, but they reference records provided by the Prince George County Police Department, which described Garcia’s gang name and rank allegedly to assert that he should stay in El Salvador.
