Fox News host Sean Hannity revealed Tuesday that he moved from New York to Florida because of politics and elected officials in the state.

“I've been threatening to do this for quite some time, and now I'm launching my first broadcast from my new home, the free state of Florida,” Hannity announced on his radio show. according to To The Hill. “I'm out. I'm done. I'm done.”

Hannity said he “feels a lot better” after relocating to the Sunshine State, adding that he is “feeling a lot better” than Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sens. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and Rick Scott, R-Florida. He explained that the decision to relocate was made by politicians who “shared our values.” valuable.

“And finally, for the first time in my entire adult life, I have a member of Congress in my state who shares my values,” Hannity said.

The paper said Hannity is one of many who have moved from Democratic-led states to Republican-led states. New York and California experienced rapid population declines from April 2020 to July 2022, according to U.S. Census results. The two Democratic-governed states were tied for the largest population loss over the period, with New York losing 524,079 residents and California losing 508,903 residents.
