Quad Cities 2023 housing market gets off to a strong start
Prescott, Ariz. – February 7, 2023 – The local real estate market remains stable despite a significant difference from this time last year, the Prescott Area Association of REALTORS® (PAAR) announced today. According to the Housing Report.
Average sales prices across all regions rose 1.7% in January, with Prescott Valley leading the quad cities with a 9.3% increase. Regions where median selling prices fell were, thankfully, in single digits.
More importantly, active inventory increased across all regions last month for an average of 4.4 months across quad cities. Chino Valley topped the list with his 5.4 months stock, followed by Prescott (5.1 months) and Dewey Humboldt (4.8 months). Prescott Valley closed his January and the stock only recorded his 2.6 months. Note that these numbers are still encouraging when compared to last year’s time, when a prospect’s active inventory was below his 30 days in all four regions.
“An experienced REALTOR® can read current market conditions and come up with personalized strategies to help you achieve the best results in your trading,” said M. Faye Humphrey, 2023 PAAR President. increase.
“Floating numbers are a hallmark of the housing industry,” Humphrey added.
While the data is very different from what residents saw this time last year, the Quad Cities housing market continues to serve as a solid foundation for community success.
