Jason Sanchez Homeless Connect Day is Friday in Globe

Do you know someone who is homeless or may become homeless?

Join this one-stop event to connect with helpful resources on everything from behavioral health to domestic violence. personal hygiene. Veterans Benefits Information, Substance Abuse, Low Income Housing.

Clothes and blankets, food and music, phones and even free haircuts will be available.

The event is a collaboration between Gila County Community Services, Gila County Homelessness Task Force, and 501-c3 nonprofit Cobre Valley Homeless Coalition.

when? Friday, June 16th from 9am to 2pm

where? Maranatha Baptist Church, 1320 E. Saguaro Dr., Grove (East end of town, past Swap Meet, opposite last Circle K on the way to San Carlos).

Are you at risk of becoming homeless due to potential landlord-tenant problems? Do you need a job? Need glasses but can’t afford them? Are you homeless because of drugs or alcohol? So do you need help? Do you need to go into a shelter? Need a Bible?

If you do not have a phone and participate in government programs such as AHCCCS or SNAP (Food Stamps), please bring your card or proof of participation in one of these programs and your driver’s license or Please bring your ID. Phones will be available at the event and will be handed out on the spot if eligible.

If you answered yes to any of these questions, please attend this event. Ask someone to complete a short survey so that we can collect data.

We need to show our community that we need more resources and services in our area. Then access helpful resources.
Meals are served. Showers and basins are provided by Aztec Glass and RAM specialists. There are also costumes that you can see.

Extol music plays and you can enjoy a little relaxing time.

If you need to drive to the event, take the Copper Mountain Transit to Dollar General in Grove, where a van will pick you up and take you the rest of the way.
