To change a game, the network must do so at least 12 days in advance, and the exact deadline is 4:00 PM ET.
NBC tried to reverse the move, but CBS couldn't accept it, as Brian Wacker of the Baltimore Sun reported that CBS kept the game. As a result, NBC and its “Sunday Night Football” brand will be stuck with the dreaded Bengals vs. Giants contest.
