Another Heckler began screaming at the Vice President after an instant, and Vance continued to defend his administration’s enforcement of the southern border.
“Maybe he’ll scream that in front of 2,000 people, I can’t even hear you say, Sir, Vance told Heckler. “But the important thing is, on this issue of immigration, you have to realize that yes, you can oppose the enforcement of those laws and you can’t even vote for someone who wants to change those laws. But we have immigration laws in the book, but we hope that our local municipalities will enforce them and help us.”
Visiting the US-Mexican border in Eagle Pass, Texas on Thursday, Vance called on the public to “recognize” the importance of border security, including hospitals, resources and schools, by illegal immigrants, including hospitals, resources and schools, pay local communities.
