Bill Simmons, a basketball celebrity Podcasts On Monday, he reported that Bezos was interested in buying the Celtics, after the Grousbeck family put the franchise up for sale after the team won the NBA title in June.
“There's been rumors going around for the last few days about Jeff Bezos buying the Celtics, which I believe is true, and I believe he would be one of the suitors,” Simmons said. “And it got me thinking: Jeff Bezos is looking at the Celtics, but what is he looking at? What does he want?”
