Totin’Oden is seeking re-election to the Alabama Public Service Commission in 2026.
Commissioner Jeremy Auden, who has held the PSC number one position since 2012, expressed enthusiasm about continuing to build on his achievements for the residents of Alabama.
“It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve on the Public Service Commission for Alabama,” Auden remarked.
“During my tenure, Alabama’s PSC has gained a reputation as one of the most conservative Utility Regulation Commissions in the nation, which I take great pride in. I strive every day to uphold that standard.”
Auden, a lifelong conservative and member of the Alabama Republican Party, previously served as a state representative for Kalman, Brandt, and Morgan counties, and he was the Alabama co-chair for President Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign.
In his outreach to major voting groups, such as the Crenshaw County Alabama Farmers Federation Chapter, Auden reaffirmed his commitment to advocacy on their behalf.
“Throughout my time at the Alabama Public Service Commission, we have been recognized time and again as America’s most conservative regulatory body, and I wear that recognition as a badge of honor,” he noted.
“In my role at the PSC, and earlier as a state legislator, I have consistently supported the Alabama Farmers Federation and our agricultural interests. I’m steadfast in that support. I’m right beside you and will continue to be.”
“I stand with Alabama’s farmers as one of them; my lineage stretches back generations in this state. Count on me—I’m proud to be part of this community.”
Thanks to PSC oversight in recent years, Alabama customers have enjoyed both cost savings and improved service reliability.
Commissioner Auden is also well-regarded nationally for his expertise in utility regulations.
He has taken on various leadership roles in energy policy, including serving as president of the Southeastern Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (Searuc), and as a board member of the National Regulatory Utility Commission (NARUC). He has chaired NARUC committees on Clean Coal and Carbon Management, and the Department of Energy’s Fossil Fuel Partnership, and was appointed by Trump to be part of the National Coal Council, as well as being involved with the Nuclear Waste Strategy Coalition.
Auden is recognized as a national spokesperson and authority on utility regulations and policies.
He resides in the Vinemont/Eva area of Kalman County with his wife, Samantha, and their daughter, enjoying a family legacy of farming and small business ownership.
The Republican primary in Alabama is set for May 19, 2026.
