I laughed when I saw this.
When Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was explaining the franchise's current contract situation, my friend went all in…or maybe I should say all in (LOL).
The Cowboys now find themselves in a tricky position with three major contracts to deal with right away. Minimal cap space So.
The two biggest ones are for superstars Dak Prescott and C.D. LamHe has already declined to participate in training camp, and if no deal is reached, both players are set to become free agents after the 2024 season. They'll also have to think about linebackers. Micah Parsonsis looking for a new contract as he enters the fourth year of his rookie contract.
And on top of that, the Cowboys will need to figure out what to do with head coach Mike McCarthy, who is entering the final year of his current contract.
Now, at his introductory press conference in Oxnard, California on Wednesday, Jones was asked about the whole contract fiasco, but how did he react when he found himself in a tight spot?
By comparing himself to Patrick Mahomes and saying he's “all in”…yeah.

#Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones compared himself to Patrick Mahomes when explaining why it would be wise to take his time before signing players to extensions.
Jerry said he's like an option quarterback who reads the market.

Never changes, Jerry Jones. Never changes. Absolute gold.
