In fact, he said the Boyes are “thinking about a few things” as Tuesday’s trade deadline approaches. The comment, “There’s a mix of things,” came while he was speaking to reporters, going on to say, “We’ll probably do some things this week. Disappointed with this team this year.” It is far from being done.”
What makes Jones’ words even more interesting is the fact that: The Athletic’s Deanna Russini He reported in October that he had no plans to take action before the trade deadline, which clearly completely contradicts what he’s saying now.

Well, Tuesday is going to be really interesting. In addition to Election Day, there’s also the NFL trade deadline, and Jerry is slowly making progress with the latter.
