Jim Hanson, a former US Army Special Forces veteran, appeared on Fox Business on Thursday to discuss surveillance of the US International Development Agency (USAID) funding distribution, focusing millions of dollars on terrorist organizations.
Greg Roman, director of the Middle East Forum; I said On Wednesday, in Congress’ testimony that the US foreign aid system misleaded millions of people to radical groups and terrorist-related organizations. in exterior In “Evening Edit,” Hanson said that the failure to monitor led to this incident.
“The very idea that our taxes will fund terrorist groups is unbearable. On the second day of the administration, the Middle East Forum sent a report detailing the $122 million that Greg Roman had spoken when he testified,” Hanson told Elizabeth MacDonald.
Hanson said the findings by Musk’s team filed potential criminal charges on Horizon, leading to a deeper investigation into USAID practices.
“It seems that it caught the attention of Elon’s Wonderkins, and they dug it, USAID, and now we’re looking at the outcome. There could be criminal charges coming out,” Hanson said. (Related: “Disease Terrorist Organization”: Mike Waltz promises to erase Hamas as we support stronger measures)
McDonald then raised Roman testimony, claiming that USAID allocated more than $900,000 to a Gaza charity linked to the son of Hamas leader Ismail Hanie, days before Hamas attacked Israel on October 7th. This raises serious questions about the integrity of the review process under the current administration, and Hanson criticised the Biden administration’s decision to overturn key review regulations from previous administrations.
“Nothing has been made in any sense about the Biden administration’s policy against the war in Gaza, which is difficult to see as anything other than fraud. As Greg pointed out, they removed their ability to see where the money is heading,” Hanson said. “And we’ve now heard other reports that $34 million in cash went to Gaza, and once it’s in, USAID has turned to it and knows where they went, and obviously not, so there’s more to come.”
Hanson said any information collected so far should encourage a request for a thorough investigation by the Department of Justice.
“We asked the Department of Justice through the State Department and the DOGE Subcommittee to launch an investigation and investigate anyone who violated both the Terrorist Foreign Corruption Practices Act and the sanctions against the designated Terrorist Group Act,” Hanson said.
“There are criminals who need to go to court.”
Roman said in his testimony that over the past 20 years, World Vision has received nearly $2 billion from USAID and has promoted a $125,000 grant to entities related to al-Qaeda precursors despite warnings. In 2023, despite connections with orchestrators of the 2008 Mumbai attack, help in relief and development received $78,000 from USAID, highlighting the failure of surveillance.
