Jimmy Kimmel hosted the 96th Academy Awards, but some of his best inspiration and inspiration is already gaining attention on social media.
The famous talk show host gave a nod to Greta Gerwig while criticizing the Academy for not nominating her for Best Director for her work on Barbie, the year's highest-grossing film, and gave a nod to Hollywood greats. I took a moment to acknowledge his accomplishments. Kimmel insulted several movies, namely Madame Web and New Moon Flowers, and made fun of Robert Downey Jr. so much that the famous actor motioned for him to end it. I started.

Kimmel repeated the insult. Some landed, drawing gasps from the shocked crowd.
People could be heard groaning after Kimmel taunted Robert Downey Jr. with a joke about drug use at the beginning of his monologue.
The famous host made harsh comments about Robert De Niro, who is dating Tiffany Chen, a woman 35 years his junior. Chen and De Niro, now 80, are expecting a baby in 2023.
“In 1976, Jodie Foster was young enough to play Robert De Niro's daughter,” Kimmel said.

“Now she's over 20 years old to be his girlfriend,” Kimmel told the audience as he continued to troll other stars.
Kimmel struck a bargain with “Madame Web” after the film underperformed at the box office.
“The people in this room have somehow managed to come up with so many great films and memorable performances. Tonight is filled with enormous talent and immense potential, but so does Madame Web. “It was,” he said.

He even took a political jab: “Emma Stone played a grown woman with the brain of a child, like the woman who spoke out against Thursday night's State of the Union address.”
Kimmel paid tribute to the film industry's behind-the-scenes workers who “stood with us” during the recent Hollywood strike.
“We're going to make this show really long tonight so we can do a lot of overtime,” he said.

The famous host took a sneaky jab at one of the year's biggest films, saying, “When I went to see Killers of the Flower Moon, I had to have the mail delivered to the theater.
