JJ Spaun Left In Complete And Utter Shock After Good Shot Turns Bad At The Players Championship

Ah, man… I feel JJ here.

JJ Spaun It was definitely a point, not just one, not two, not three, but 4 days At TPC Sawgrass, but sadly for him, things went downhill when he had to play in the three-hole playoffs on Monday morning Rory McIlroy. And to make it worse for him, this won the Grabs championship, one of the most prestigious and competitive tournaments.

McIlroy was the first playoff hole ace and hit a birdie on the par 5 16th. Spaun, meanwhile, managed the PAR, but things weren’t banged a bit in the process.

With momentum shifting in McIlroy’s direction, Spaun still had the opportunity to win the tournament in the face of a scenario on the par 3 17th hole that could happen anything. McIlroy hit a tee shot up to 29 feet. (Related: President Trump says he won the golf championship, but that’s coming along with some potentially sad news)

For Spaun, the assignment seemed simple. Put your ball on land and give him the opportunity to get a birdie (or par in the worst case scenario) before moving on to the 18th.

Originally, it looked like a good shot of Spaun. However, his “Chippie“The 8 iron failed him and the ball quickly got into the water. All he tried to do was make up for the wind, but all he did was lose the wind.

In response, Spaun is completely fired up and when he judges how good things are, he can only feel his pain.

Something rough… shakes it, the next one, JJ
