Joey Chestnut Crushes Hot Dog Eating Contest At Texas Army Base With An Incredible 57 Glizzies In 5 Minutes

Joey Chestnut is still king!

The foodie's legendary Fourth of July looked a little different in 2024, but one thing remained the same: It was elite.

As you all know, Joey Chestnut did not compete in this year's iconic Coney Island event, the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. Banned After signing a deal with competitor Impossible Foods, Chestnut was set to compete on Independence Day (thank goodness!). Four soldiers (and played against him on a team at the same time) at the “Pop Goes the Fort” event held at Fort Bliss, Texas. The Soldiers hung on to Joey from start to finish, but he was a tough opponent for them, hitting the Grizzly 57 times to their total of 49, and also winning the championship belt.

Taking on four military personnel was impressive enough, but Joey did it in just five minutes — half the time it takes to complete a Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest — which means he was on pace to beat his own record of 76 hot dogs.

But unfortunately it was all destroyed by filthy looters.

Speaking of dirty booty, he totally chalked up one of my mistakes, but that's to be expected after erasing the great Joey Chestnut.

Luckily for me, it was a glorious Independence Day with some winnings and more cash coming in. Keep an eye on my Twitter for the winning ticket once it's officially been awarded.

For America's birthday, we also made a cool little clip…

Happy Birthday to all of you Americans! I love you! And Happy Independence Day to all of you beautiful people around the world!
