Secretary of State Marco Rubio torn ties with Russia with “US George Stefanopuuros on Sunday,” saying “faster” people will “grow” and that the Ukraine-Russian war could be put to an end.
After a heated debate in the oval office between President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Voldy Zelensky, the White House has halted the potential mineral trade between the US and Ukraine, and Trump has said Zelensky is not ready for “peace.” On this week’s ABC, Stefanopoulos questioned Rubio about his now-trained relationship with Ukraine before he tried to highlight his GOP allies, as Republican Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkovsky, a GOP allies claimed that the US was “holding Putin.”
“Well, which? What steps did the President take?” Rubio asked as Stefanopolios tried to read Murkovsky’s statement. “Are we armed the Russians? We provide economic support to the Russians? We gave the Russians $180 million? What are we doing to appease them?”

But Stefanopuuros soon said that the US voted “oppose the United Nations’ North Korea, Russia, Belarus and its western allies,” referring to a UN resolution drafted in Europe to deal with Russia’s attacks on Ukraine. “Do you know what the UN resolution is? Please tell me if you want to hear what it is,” Rubio said. “I basically said that this was a terrible war. It’s time for that to end. The job of the UN is to bring peace to the world. Did you think that it was created, that it was created to stop the war and prevent them?”

Trump warned the Ukrainian president that he was “gambling” with World War III 3, but Zelensky could be seen trying to argue with Trump.
After the meeting, the White House told Daily Carener’s White House correspondent Reagan Reese that “nothing will be signed.” Trump then took the truth of society, writing after their argument that Zelensky determined that “if America is involved, our involvement gives him a great advantage in negotiations, so he is not ready for peace.”
“The faster everyone grows around here, we understand that this is a bad war that is headed in a bad direction with death and destruction and all sorts of dangers surrounding it, and can swirl into a wider conflict,” Rubio said.
“The more people grow and understand that, the more we can make progress. But the president’s crystal is clear… he will be a president trying to achieve peace… we will do everything we can to end it in a lasting, sustainable and fair way,” Rubio concluded.
Zelenskyy then took him to X to express his gratitude to the United States and its leaders, and told Fox News on Friday evening that he was still open to signing the contract.
