Kamala Harris is trying to make fetch happen. Too bad it's not going to happen.
In the hours since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race and before Harris garnered hundreds of endorsements and broke fundraising records, the new campaign also made a poignant appeal to Gen Z. Harris' campaign Twitter account quickly adopted a neon green color scheme and retro face in an apparent homage to “Brat,” the sixth studio album by summer pop sensation Charli XCX.

The dance album has been a social media sensation since its release on June 7, giving Gen Z influencers plenty of content and new cultural references. In the singer's own words, “Brat” is about a girl who is “a little bit messy, who likes to party, and who sometimes says stupid things.” She's “honest, forthright, and a little bit quirky.”
It's Brat Summer, and young Americans are embracing this vibe and living life to the fullest – who cares what other people think?
Is this similar to the Kamala Harris we've seen over the past few years?

The media has dutifully gone along with Harris' so-called “wayward era” and tried to rehabilitate her “cool girl” image to appeal to younger voters, but it is doomed to fail for her.
Harris is so insincere that she makes Hillary Clinton look like an over-the-top stage actor: everything she does is tightly controlled and over-staged to make it happen. look She seems to effortlessly combine power and grace, but it all seems so forced that you can see how hard she is trying to stick to the script. In reality, she is neurotic, sensitive, and obsessed with how she is perceived. And those “stupid words” she mentions? She must be furious that they are repeated in the conservative media.
Harris is not a selfish woman. She can't be one. In fact, the fact that she tries so hard to be one only proves that she isn't.
