This is pretty cool by President Trump.
Go back February 2020Kansas City Chiefs took home the Super Bowl Championship for the first time in 50 years, beating the San Francisco 49ers in “Big Game.”
That being said, the entire planet was shut down due to the community pandemic a few weeks after the chief won the Super Bowl LIV. This means the team couldn’t travel to the White House.
The Chiefs have since won two more Super Bowls, but 2020 featured their own roster, like every season. As a result, there was a considerable portion of players who were unable to enjoy the White House experience along with the Super Bowl ring. Now, President Donald Trump wants to fix that situation.
“I look forward to doing one more thing with the Eagles, because then the Kansas City chiefs missed their turn because of Covid,” Trump said.
Clark Hunt, CEO and chairman of the Kansas City Chiefs, says the franchise will do everything possible to ensure that White House visits take place.
