White House press chief Caroline Leavitt said on Fox News on Friday that the tide was in favour of President Donald Trump’s economic and trade strategy.
“Hannity” host Sean Hannity mentioned over 75 countries “I want to come to the table to deal with it.”
“We’re told that deal number one has ended. Is that so?” Honity asked Levitt.
“That’s true. We believe there could be some deals soon. Over 75 countries have reached out to the administration. Over 15 offers are on the table. And the president’s trade team and the president himself are working very hard to negotiate Taylormade trade deals with all the countries that reached out,” Leavitt said. “The other presidents had no courage to fully utilize the leverage of the United States.”
Trump announced Wednesday that he would suspend mutual tariffs for 90 days in all countries except China. The move sparked rallies in the global market shortly after its announcement.
Leavitt pointed out the series of lines she said was an economic victory.

“Not only could it be our economics, it could be our military and national security as well. And earlier this week, a fake news CNN reporter asked me an interesting question. She said on the premise of the question, “Caloline, the whole world is notifying us for what President Trump is doing,” Levitt said.
In response to a question from the CNN reporter, Leavitt said the international community was aware that the US was ultimately “no longer used.”
“That’s exactly the point. The world is being notified. The world is finally realising that the United States of America will not be used under this president. This is the president who puts our country, our people, our needs first,” Levitt said. “And now the rest of the world is calling our administration. They need not just our economy and markets, but the phones are ringing from the hooks, but we need to continue to provide peace in this world.”
“Other countries appreciate us for the stability we have provided in our country for decades,” Leavitt said.

Trump has imposed a 10% baseline tariff on around 60 countries, and said countries like China will face sudden charges if they maintain unfair trade barriers.
