Sen. Katie Britt Calls for Accountability Over Biden’s Health
Senator Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) is urging Congress to hold members of President Joe Biden’s administration responsible for allegedly covering up the president’s mental and physical deterioration.
During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Biden’s health, testimony was provided by former officials from the Trump administration on Wednesday. It’s worth noting that Democrats are currently boycotting the hearing.
“It’s obvious that there are individuals in this administration who are aware of the situation, and they ought to come forward and explain why they’ve turned their backs on the American public. They owe us accountability. We need answers,” Britt emphasized.
In a tweet, Britt remarked, “The cover-up of President Biden’s mental decline was unprecedented. Senate Republicans are resolved to hold those involved accountable.”
She also discussed the issue in an interview on NewsMax TV on the same day. “This is an urgent matter,” she stated. “We deserve answers, and Americans deserve the truth. The absence of my Democratic colleagues today speaks volumes to the American people.”
Britt mentioned the significance of knowing who truly makes the decisions, implying that someone else may be influencing Biden’s presidency. She noted ongoing discussions around Biden’s health are being fueled by a recent book, Original Sin, which highlights claims of concealing the president’s condition.
“There’s no denying that his mental faculties have declined,” Britt continued. “The pressing question remains whether he is the one really making decisions. Just look at the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan; the consequences are affecting not just that region but the world. It’s clear that while Joe Biden is president, someone else might be driving the decisions.”
Reflecting on her previous experience as a senior staff member, Britt shared, “Working in the Senate is an honor, and you take an oath to serve your country. Those who have chosen to mislead or hide things from the public should also be held accountable.”
