Sen. Katie Britt Endorses Tommy Tuberville for Governor
U.S. Senator Katie Britt from Montgomery has become the first statewide elected official to endorse her colleague, Senator Tommy Tuberville, in his run for governor.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Britt expressed her enthusiasm for supporting Tuberville, saying, “We are thrilled to support our friend and colleague Sen. Tommy Tuberville, to serve as the next governor of our great state.”
She highlighted shared goals, mentioning the importance of enhancing K-12 education, modernizing workforce development, creating well-paying jobs, and investing in local infrastructure as key points in their mission to prioritize Alabama.

Tuberville, who kicked off his campaign last month, thanked Britt for her backing, suggesting that their collaboration in state government will endure.
“I’m grateful to my friend and colleague Sen. Katie Britt for her support,” Tuberville stated. “Katy and I have fought for Alabama every day in the Senate for the past few years, and when we return to Montgomery, we’ll continue working together.”
