Leonard and the Clippers are currently in the midst of a rehab aimed at prolonging the 33-year-old’s life through the season, and the team is being very cautious about his long-term fitness.
The two-time NBA Finals MVP hasn’t been active throughout the Clippers’ preseason, which ends Thursday against the Sacramento Kings. Additionally, he has not engaged in any physical activity that requires contact during training camp.
