Travis Kelce, Pfizer's marquee player and star tight end for the Chiefs, was on the sideline facing head coach Andy Reid after a teammate's poor goal-line fumble early in Super Bowl V. I screamed in my face.
After quarterback Patrick Mahomes hit receiver Mecole Hardman with a huge 53-yard shot, the Chiefs got their first touchdown of the day when running back Isaiah Pacheco fumbled the ball on the next play. was knocking on the door.
The CBS broadcast then aired footage that appeared to show an enraged Kelce yelling “keep me in” in his coach's face, as color analyst Tony Romo pointed out.
“When he comes to Andy, he says, 'Lock me up,'” Romo noted.

As Romo pointed out, Kelce, who is more of a receiving tight end than a blocker, was taken off the field in favor of tight end Noah Gray, a blocking specialist. What a terrible look from Taylor's boyfriend. Andy Reid is an absolute legend, coaching in his sixth Super Bowl and winning an impressive three times. Even if that isn't the case, a head coach is a position that demands respect. You have a problem with him, so tell him about it calmly and privately.
I understand your frustration. Kelce is obviously a contender and he wants to be there. However, this behavior is unacceptable. Just because he has appeared in a huge number of commercials does not give him the right to disrespect him like that in public. He really hopes to hear a public apology from the superstar after the game.
