Kesha Flashes Knife, Dances With Bizarre Props During Concerning Live Show

Kesha sparked concern at her concert at Atlantic City's Hard Rock Casino on Thursday when she took over the stage with a knife in her hand.

The bizarre live performance reportedly included Kesha's odd antics, including changing into a PVC nun costume. Daily MailThe 37-year-old showed off a black T-shirt with the word “free” written in glitter, along with a women's sanitary napkin that read “c*nty.” The vulgar message on the sanitary napkin was given no context or explanation, and it is unclear what the knife has to do with her show.

The famous singer had her nails painted hot pink when she came on stage clutching what appeared to be a large meat cleaver, and according to the Daily Mail, she continued to wave and gesture as if she was completely unaware that the sharp object she was holding would attract a lot of attention and questions about her intentions.

Kesha's knife performance was eerily similar to Britney Spears' bizarre knife dance that caused a stir on social media in 2023. At the time, Spears posted numerous videos of herself dancing with two knives, sparking widespread concern among fans and leading to a trending discussion for weeks. Spears claimed that the knife dance involved a synthetic prop knife.

It's unclear whether Kesha was using a prop knife or a real one, but the fact that she was performing with a knife in her hand was enough to pique curiosity about her message and her health.

Kesha also changed into a nun outfit, which she accessorized with a large gold crucifix necklace, but the costume changes didn't stop there. Each costume change was essentially a new outfit and persona. According to the Daily Mail, one of the star's outfits was a sparkly black corset with lace panels, and another was a cowgirl ensemble. Kesha's sparkly “Free” T-shirt appears to be a reference to “Joyride,” the first single she released as an independent artist after parting ways with her record label.

The star is due to perform in Philadelphia on July 4, but it's unclear if he'll be bringing along the knives and various costumes for the return show.
