Kevin McCarthy Explains Why Dems Are Most ‘Leaderless’ He’s Ever Seen, Says Dems Only Plan Is Ordering DoorDash

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy criticized the Democratic leader on Fox News on Thursday, calling him the most “leaderless” he’s ever seen.

When he appeared in “Jesse Watters Primetime,” McCarthy called Democrat minority leader Hakem Jeffries and Democratic Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer who said he lacked clear direction and decisiveness. McCarthy also commented on the recent democratic messaging campaign, saying they have no purpose, suggesting that the party has no real priorities.

“I think this is the most leaderless Democrat I’ve ever seen. Hakeem and Schumer don’t know where to go. They can’t make a decision. They’re putting out a video saying, ‘Pick your fighter’,” McCarthy said. “They voted to try and shut down the government. Do we even know that name to send harder taxpayer money to some African countries for transgender opera?”

McCarthy dismissed the claim that Democrats have a consistent plan, cynically surprised that their best idea might be “doordash orders.”

“They don’t have a plan. How do you order Doordash? Is that their plan? They don’t have a plan. You talk to them every day. And OK, let’s give President Trump credit. He didn’t just destroy them,” McCarthy said. “They can’t even understand how to resist him because he does something more every day.”

McCarthy said President Donald Trump is increasingly popular among younger voters, adding that it is clear that Trump successfully captured the country’s political imagination in ways Democrats did not. “If you look at President Trump’s vote, he’s getting the young people’s vote. That’s not happening since Reagan. And you don’t just get it. You need to get it. And when young people support you, they believe you have a future,” McCarthy said.

Before Trump’s first joint speech to Congress, 22 Democrat senators used small microphones to record themselves and provided a consistent script in close-up shots, hoping to connect with Americans. Unlike her peers, Democrat Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett posted a video on social media before her speech, showing her dancing through the Congressional building.

These antics not only won criticism from Republicans, but even former Democratic strategist Dan Trenne expressed his disapproval. Appearing on Fox News Friday, he described the Democrats’ tactics as “embarrassing” and criticised their false strategy of “drove Trump away” by misunderstanding the nature of Trump’s appeal.
