The man who accused Kevin Spacey of drugging and assaulting him and calling him a “vile sexual predator” has admitted to joking after the assault took place.
An unidentified aspiring actor claims Spacey took advantage of him when he was looking for a mentor. He reportedly admitted to joking with Spacey’s friends that he would resort to having sex with Spacey if he had trouble finding work. Associated Press (AP).
“It’s become a joke, and that means I’m running with that joke,” the man said.

The alleged victim went on to reportedly reveal that he mocked the incident because of a “feeling of catharsis.” He testified that he used humor to deal with the trauma of falling asleep, and when he woke up, Spacey was performing oral sex, according to the Associated Press.
The victim said he had remained silent for more than a decade, fearing his job in the entertainment industry would be jeopardized, the media said.

The Associated Press reports that the man is the fourth victim in a sexual assault trial in the UK between 2001 and 2013, when Spacey worked at London’s Old Vic theatre. (Related: Tina Fey claims Kevin Spacey hit her up before)
According to the Associated Press, the trial consists of 12 counts, including charges of indecent assault, sexual assault and soliciting sexual intercourse without consent. Spacey has denied all charges against herself and claims her accusers are seeking payment while defaming her name.
