Key Player In Trump’s First Impeachment Makes Absurd Demand In Wake Of Zelensky Oval Office Duel

Retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindmann said former CNN host Jim Acosta should resign on Monday following Friday’s discussion at the Oval Office with Ukrainian President Voldimir Zelensky.

Zelenskyy was asked to leave the White House after clashing with Trump and Vice President JD Vance, and later posted. apology X Tuesday.

“He was extremely successful, captivated other leaders and, frankly, connected with them about security, mutual security interests. It’s not that Europeans are completely altruistic. They just know that their safety is at stake,” Vindman told Acosta. “And he tried to make the same point for the Trump administration, but all he did was essentially be attacked.”

Vindman went on to call the situation “a rather nasty event.”

“And to wrap this around, this current situation has essentially a demand for a change of administration, but it’s not a change of administration that Biden was saying Putin was a dictator,” Vindman said. “He’s trying to destabilize the world. He’s attacking our interests. This is a change in the regime where Trump is asking his peers to resign. So I’m going ahead and going out to the record here. I’m going to call it! Ukrainians and Europeans can’t work with Trump. I’m asking Donald Trump to resign! And we can find someone reasonable for our allies to work with. We’re going there. That’s it. It’s there now!”

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina called on Zelenskyy to step down after a clash during a Fox News appearance on Friday. Trump suspended military aid to Ukraine on Monday after expressing his view that the war with Russia, which began with the February 24, 2022, would last for years.

“We’re going there! Yes. So, if Lindsey Graham can call on Zelensky to resign, why can’t Alex Vindman resign to Donald Trump?” Acosta said after Vindman’s diatribe.

Vindman filed a whistleblower complaint that helped spark Trump’s first blast each in 2019 after the then-president was said to have threatened withholding Ukrainian military aid unless he investigated Hunter Biden’s business deal during a call with Zelenskyyy.
