The news came shortly after King Charles was discharged from a London clinic where he was being treated for an enlarged prostate, which was confirmed not to be prostate cancer. However, during this procedure, doctors identified another concerning issue, which led to a diagnosis of cancer.

Buckingham Palace outlined that King Charles has begun a series of regular treatments. As a result, he will continue to carry out his national responsibilities and official duties, but has been advised to reduce his involvement in public affairs.
