Kingman man arrested for attempted homicide allegation | Kingman Daily Miner

KINGMAN – As Glendale men fight for their lives after a weekend shooting in Kingman, local resident Daniel Heeson, 47, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and drug offences.

Kingman Police Deputy Chief Joel Freed said police were called to the scene around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, after receiving a call of a shooting at Block 3800 on Irving Street.

“Police officers found the victim, a 33-year-old man from Glendale, with gunshot wounds to his torso and leg,” Freed said. “As a result of the investigation, it was found that Hee-sung and his victim were acquaintances, and that Hee-sung shot the victim and the victim’s car and fled the scene.”

Freed said Heesung was arrested around 7 a.m. when he was found walking near the scene of the violence. Heesung was questioned and admitted his involvement, law enforcement said.

Heesung was held at the Mojave County Adult Detention Facility on charges of attempted murder and compound offenses involving drugs and weapons.

Freed said the victim was taken to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he was last reported in critical condition.
