Wheeler was eventually detained, and an identity check revealed that he had a handgun in the left pocket of his sweater vest. became.

The agent involved was not injured and did not require medical attention. Lance Renfest-Wheeler was arrested and transferred to an adult detention facility in Mojave County.

He was charged with all felonies, including aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest by physical force, and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person.
