On Thursday afternoon, Kingman residents can find the brand new KDMiner.com. New to Kingman’s top digital source for news, sports, opinion and events.
This bold redesign showcases the newsroom’s daily best work. We’ve cleaned up the clutter and highlighted the news your readers want most. Timely news and sports stories from Kingman, Mojave County and more will keep him delivered throughout the day. The focus is on visuals, with photos and graphics appearing larger and better.
(By the way, there’s also a nifty online calendar where you can view all of Kingman’s upcoming events, or even post your own.) But this redesign is only driven by superficial appearances. It doesn’t mean there is. Readers are using more devices than ever to access his KDMiner.com, and this update leverages a technology called Responsive Design, allowing the website to fit on a 4-inch smartphone screen to a 24-inch screen. I’m trying to make it look just as beautiful on a flat screen. .
We are excited about this change, but we understand that it will take time for our readers to fully adapt. Switch on Thursday afternoon. We welcome your feedback, good or bad. Please email your feedback about this website to editorial@kdminer.com.
