Kingman softball team pounds Odyssey | Kingman Daily Miner

BUCKEYE – Kingman had 19 hits, including 11, in a 23-6 win over the Odyssey Institute on Wednesday, March 29.

Senior Amber Lopez hit a home run and gave up five runs, while freshman Kaitlyn Martin went 4-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored, giving up seven runs. Sophomore Destiny Kogianes had two doubles and one single, while sophomore Reagan Rogers went 3-for-4 and scored four runs.

Freshman Destiny Hartley and junior Brooke Carter were winners with doubles and singles respectively, improving to a 2-3 record on the season.

Kingman pitcher Reyna Lewis recorded the win in four innings, striking out five Odyssey batters.

Kingman improved to 2-3 with a win, while the Odyssey Institute fell to 1-7 overall.

Lake Havasu City – Lee Williams scored first in a high school softball game in Lake Havasu City on Wednesday, March 29, before Lake Havas scored more in a 9-1 victory. bottom.

Lake Havasu led 2–1 after four innings, but scored three in the fifth and four in the sixth to clinch the win.

Lake Havasu City – The Lee Williams High School men’s tennis team continued its dominance with a 9-0 win over host Lake Havasu on Thursday, March 30.

It wasn’t always easy to win, with two singles matches spanning three sets.

No. 1 Sr. Cohen Jewelfts put the Volunteers in the starting lineup with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Christian Thane.

Lee Williams’ other singles winners were second-placed junior Tyler McNiven (6-7, 6-3, 10-8), third-placed senior Elijah Larson (6-4, 6-2), fourth-placed Sophomore Connor Brown (6-7, 6-3, 10-6), No. 5 Jr. Brigham Damron (6-0, 6-0), No. 6 Freshman Max Swap (6-2, 6-4) .

Lee Williams’ doubles winners were No. 1 Juelfs and McNiven (8-3), No. 2 Larson and Brown (8-3), and No. 3 Swapp and Damron (8-3).

Lee Williams improved to 6-1 this season. Lake Havasu slipped to his 2-4.
