Actor Kirk Cameron and BRAVE Books will host the first nationwide “Meet me at the Library” event on August 5, 2023.
The event, dubbed by the publisher as a “national movement for free speech,” will be held in hundreds of libraries across the country.
Americans unite to pray, sing and read BRAVE books in more than 260 libraries in 44 states. Said Fox News.

In a recent development, the Madison Public Library in Huntsville, Alabama canceled a planned Story Hour event, citing “security concerns” and “concerns about capacity.”
Religious Freedom Advocacy Group First Liberty Sent I sent a letter to the library telling them that canceling the event would be unconstitutional.
An attorney for First Liberty wrote:
You may have canceled just one event: a storytelling session with a Christian children’s author at your local library. To a greater or lesser degree, such unbridled censorship affects the freedom of speech we all depend on in this free society.
First Liberty has asked the library to allow Brave Books and Prime Minister Cameron to use the library for Saturday’s event. I don’t know yet if the library will support it. If not, you’ll have First Liberty’s attorneys handle it.
