Kofa High alum opens 3rd Annual Grant A Gown

YUMA, Arizona (KYMA, KECY) – Kofa High School alumnus Isaac Navarrate launched his third Grant A Gown fundraiser. This is to help high school students who can’t afford graduation caps and gowns.

“We’ve had a lot of support from the community over the last two years to keep us going,” Navarrete said. “There’s no reason students shouldn’t get their own hats and gowns. I’m so grateful to be able to continue with Grant A Gown because it’s a way to give back while away from home.”

Navarrate, a current student at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, got the idea for Grant A Gown when a member of her family couldn’t afford a hat and gown for graduation.
