Nick Saban is the greatest man in college football history.

However, in coaching, the coach's wife is often just as important to the success of the program in terms of the amount of sacrifices she must make to make the program the best it can be.

And no one embodied that sacrifice better than the wife of Nick Saban, famously and affectionately known as Miss Terry.

During the performance Next RoundLance Taylor had the opportunity to ask his daughter, Kristen Saban, a number of questions about various topics, and Taylor commented that while there are many wives who do great things behind the scenes, it's Terry Saban who is the one leading the charge. His daughter agreed.

“Apparently they [coach’s wives]”A lot of people work behind the scenes, but your mom, Terri, was very much in the public eye and always at the forefront,” Taylor said, adding that it seemed like she at least embraced a prominent role.

“Yeah, she definitely did and she was very good. She's really the best coach's wife in everything she's ever done,” Saban said.

Terry has been a huge contributor to charitable causes in Tuscaloosa, helping to donate 21 Habitat for Humanity homes for the less fortunate in Tuscaloosa.

Her charity, Nick's Kids Foundation, also does great things for the city: “Working together in a spirit of faith and service in our community, we promote and support the activities of children, families, teachers and students,” according to the charity's mission statement.

Even after her husband retires, Terry plans to continue doing all he can in terms of charitable efforts. Nick Saban may be the greatest of all time, but behind the magic is his wife, who is herself the greatest of all time.
