Kristi Noem Robbed Of Thousands In Cash At DC Restaurant On Easter

Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Christy Noem appeared to be the victim of the theft while dining at a restaurant in downtown DC on Sunday night.

Noem Recognised It notes that the incident to CNN on Monday remains unresolved at the White House Easter Egg Roll. The thief stole about $3,000 in cash, a NOEM driver’s license and a DHS access badge, among other documents and items, the publication reported.

According to law enforcement agencies interviewed by CNN, the Secret Service, responsible for NOEM’s security, reviewed surveillance footage reviewed from the restaurant, where an unidentified white man wearing a medical mask stole his bag and left the restaurant.

The Secret Service reportedly is investigating whether Noem’s financial items are being used.

Noem had cash to “treat her family to dinner, activities and Easter gifts,” the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) wrote in a statement. Newsweek By email.

“We can see that this happened last night. Her whole family was in town, including her children and grandchildren,” a statement from DHS read.

DHS and USSS did not immediately respond to a Daily Caller News Foundation request for comment.
