Glen Canyon National Recreation Area Updates

Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Arizona/Utah – Due to low water levels, visitors should adjust their plans with two key updates:
- The Wahweap Main Launch Ramp will be closed starting Monday, August 18th.
- The Rainbow Bridge Dock will be relocating to deeper waters on Monday, August 25th. This means easy access to the Rainbow Bridge will be unavailable until the water levels improve, although the toilet facilities at the dock will remain operational.
The National Park Service is carefully monitoring the situation and will keep the public informed as the lake levels fluctuate. It’s essential for boaters to be aware of the minimum water depth needed for their vessels. Before your visit, make sure to check the park’s website and social media for the most recent updates on ramp and dock conditions.
