“Land of the Lost” actor Spencer Milligan passed away on April 18 at his home in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, at the age of 86.
His death was only recently made public. The famous actor was a beloved star of the 1970s children's show and is fondly remembered by friends, fans and loved ones. “Spencer James Milligan has made his final exit,” the post read. His obituary read.
“Spencer was a creative force as a producer, writer, director and actor, appearing on stages across the country and playing memorable roles in national commercials, broadcast and cable television and feature films,” his loved ones wrote in an obituary.
The star's cause of death was not made public.
His obituary paid tribute to Milligan's passion for the entertainment world, saying performing for others was part of his natural personality, and he fondly remembered performing magic tricks for friends in grade school, as well as his love of theatre and performing in front of the camera.
Milligan made numerous guest appearances on shows such as “The Bionic Woman,” “Gunsmoke,” “Alcatraz” and “Yellow Rose.” She also appeared in “Alice” and “The Dukes of Hazzard,” and her final appearance was a seven-episode series on “General Hospital” in 1987. New York Post.

His final acting role was a seven-episode series on General Hospital in 1987.
According to his obituary, some of the late star's cherished roles included starring in ABC's “The Call of the Wild,” playing a troubled quarterback in “The Keegans” and boxing during his punch-drunk years in “Good Time Harry.”
Milligan's true love was local theater, where he directed “Tennessee Williams,” “One Act Plays,” “Billy Sunday,” and more.
The love of his life was his wife, Kelly Milligan, whom he affectionately noted in his obituary: “They met late in life, a moment he often spoke of as the defining moment of his life. If Spencer Milligan were to edit this, he would probably suggest that this paragraph alone suffices.”

Milligan is survived by Kelly, his godfather Andy Solis, Hilary Williams and Spencer Williams, as well as “many sad friends and the countless creatives who considered him a mentor,” according to his obituary. (Related: Donald Sutherland dies at age 88)
Indeed, in honour of his generosity, the donation will go to The Actors Fund, a non-profit organisation that provides support to actors and entertainers in need.
