The administrative department has attracted a lot of attention regarding government efficiency (DOGE) decisions, but there is another branch where Doge can be used more. This very action made the entity need Doge.
That branch is the US Congress, and if they want to regain credibility, strengthen America’s credit ratings and strengthen the sound dollar, Congress must follow itself. (Related: Congressman Buddy Carter: It’s America’s new day. Let’s tax it like that.)
The enforcement division would not have grown much without the Congressional budget for Americans’ money.
Members of Congress should not make sure that people’s dollar parents shouldn’t spend more money than they accept, as they probably won’t tell their children to spend money that they don’t have.
To combat this, the American people should require that all candidates in Congress pledge that the legislative sector, including staff, will not be paid during government shutdowns, in years when there is no balanced budget. Plus, there is no backpay. Even if members of Congress are wealthy, there is no way for Congress to stop the monstrous spending, as their staff feel the heat of not doing collective work and their members feel the brink of doing collective work.
Congressional salary is one Constitutional amendments27th.
The Doge fix must be: The only exception to this proposal is the 2/3 vote era of both the exact declared war era (not Congress’ approval for the use of military force) and the full house of Congress, which is clearly spelled out in the amendments.
In 2011, in the middle of the Iraq and Afghan wars, then Chairman Mike Mullen. I said The biggest threat to America was its citizens’ debt.
That same year, the American credit rating was Degraded For the first time I’m setting a fire Government investigation For S&P, but the effect was already moving. Other series of warnings and downgrades Financial Entities I started this today and continued.
Our debts have It exploded Beyond those terrible times of the Chairman’s warning, we cannot even pay the debt itself. We can only pay interest on that. Interest expected to be The biggest part of taxpayer budgets.
This will weaken the dollar so much, making America vulnerable. The government can’t even afford to make pennies without losses. And there’s not much time to settle your finances before Congress has had another downgrade or an event affecting negative dollars.
The doge for Congress is not Jimmy Carter’s idea that Americans should live with fewer people and everyone should sacrifice, but Ronald Reagan’s idea that government is the problem, too big and in vain. It is important to follow the enforcement department, but the pain that is ultimately experienced is due to Congress and they need to be dealt with.
The additional burden on people should not be held accountable to Congress for this disaster, not higher taxes. Such accountability is essential. Because if they don’t have financial sanity, Congress will see in the future either taxing Americans significantly or the dollar is constantly weakening and causing inflation.
And the financial interests will only be higher. With our last baby boomer retirement, major Social Security Trust Funds will be able to pay 100% benefits until 2033. 80% of projection The benefits will be paid.
This does not take into consideration other parts of Medicare or Social Security.
Social Security and other programs, Ponzi scheme It is difficult to change because most people don’t get the money they put in because it’s a denunciation spending. Moreover, the program is too popular with the idea that it’s not caught up in Congress (wisely) because taxpayers keep their money and think they’re appropriate.
Because of this financial and political reality, it is actually easy and productive for the members of the House and Senate, and for Americans, to request a Doge from Congress in the form of a balanced constitutional amendment of Congressional constitutional amendment, and the salaries of Congressional members and their legislative department staff.
