Red flag warning in progress
The Las Vegas Valley and northwestern Arizona have red flag warnings on Sunday and Monday, meaning there are weather conditions that could lead to extreme fire behavior.
Gusts of wind averaging 20 to 25 mph and 35 to 40 mph are expected in Las Vegas, and low humidity conditions could spread fires quickly.
The Bureau of Meteorology strongly discourages outdoor bonfires.
