AEP6 examines the economic and social impact of the nation's nonprofit arts and culture industry
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – The City of Yuma Parks, Recreation, Arts and Culture Department releases detailed findings from its latest Arts and Economic Prosperity Study (AEP6).
The event will feature board members, arts leaders, and keynote speaker Randy Cohen, Vice President of Research at Americans for the Arts.
“Arts and Economic Prosperity” is an American for the Arts study of the economic impact of the nonprofit arts and culture industry, according to the City of Yuma.
The city's arts and culture sector had the opportunity to participate in AEP6.
AEP6 documents the economic contributions of the arts in 373 diverse communities and regions across the country, representing all 50 states and Puerto Rico.
This free event will be held at the Historic Yuma Theater, 254 S. Main Street, on Monday, January 29th from 1:00pm to 2:30pm.
