Lawd Have Mercy! Texas Police Sergeant And Deputy Fired After Allegedly Having Sex With Each Other In Patrol Car

What the hell is going on in our police station?

A Texas police sergeant and a deputy at the Comal County Sheriff’s Office were fired earlier this year for allegedly failing to report a sexual relationship to the administration, according to personnel records obtained by the Texas state police. KSAT.

I’ve served the CCSO for almost six years, Sergeant. Kelly Metz was fired Jan. 19 for multiple rule violations, including employee intimacy, use of body-worn cameras, and professional conduct.

Two-year CCSO veteran Deputy Patrick Byrne was fired on the same day as Mets. Byrne’s latest employer, Somerset City Police Department, said Byrne was fired from the CCSO on allegations of fraud when he was first questioned about potential relationships during the CCSO’s internal affairs investigation.

According to CCSO records, the suspect, identified as David Brachage, told authorities in May 2022 that he had heard “groans of sexual gratification coming from the patrol area” while in a parking lot. He said he threw a stone at Byrne’s patrol car and hit the windshield. Via KSAT.
