Leaders of harsh governments overheard discussing casually about using others’ organs to achieve ‘immortality’

Putin and Xi Discuss Organ Transplants and Longevity

President Vladimir Putin of Russia and President Xi Jinping of China had an interesting exchange that was unintentionally captured on microphone recently. They were discussing how advancements in organ transplant technology might lead to longer lifespans and potentially even immortality.

Before a military parade in Beijing, Xi mentioned to Putin the possibility of implanting human organs, hinting at a future where humans could live much longer, perhaps up to 150 years. The conversation drew laughter from North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, who was present as they made their way to their seats.

However, there are serious concerns regarding organ harvesting practices in China. Reports indicate that organs are obtained from the Uyghur minority in Xinjiang Province, leading to accusations of crimes against humanity.

It’s important to note that there isn’t substantial evidence to support the idea that organ transplants can significantly extend life to 150 years. In fact, issues like organ rejection are common, requiring patients to take immunosuppressants to avoid the body attacking the new organs.

Both leaders are currently 72 years old. There has been ongoing speculation about their health, especially considering the challenges that come with aging. Putin, in particular, has maintained a strong public image over the years.

As of now, both the US Chinese Embassy and the Russian Foreign Ministry have not responded to inquiries regarding this discussion.
