Leading business groups in Alabama support Coach Tuberville for governor

In the race for Alabama Governor, prominent business groups in the state are backing Director Tommy Tuberville. They point to his dedication to fostering economic growth and supporting the business community.

This backing comes from organizations like the Alabama Business Council (BCA), the Alabama Forestry Association (AFA), and the Alabama Concrete Industry Association (ACIA), representing a diverse array of sectors across Alabama.

“We’re thankful for the overwhelming support from business leaders in the Yellowhammer State,” Tuberville remarked. “Having been a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges Alabama businesses face. Fortunately, President Trump is returning to the White House, aiming to revitalize our economy.”

Helena Duncan, President and CEO of the Alabama Business Council, commended Tuberville for his leadership and alignment with business priorities. “Counselor Tuberville has consistently identified key issues for the Alabama business community, like workforce development, infrastructure, and overall economic competitiveness,” she said. “His vision for Alabama aligns with our goal of making this state an ideal place to live, work, and do business. We are proud to back him in this campaign.”

Chris Isaacson, President and CEO of the Alabama Forestry Association, echoed this view, emphasizing Tuberville’s strong policy record in the U.S. Senate. “No one matches the coach’s efforts to advocate for the forest industry. His achievements in reducing regulations and supporting Alabama-centric policies are the foundation of his platform. He’s the leader we need, and the AFA is honored to support him for governor,” Isaacson stated.

John Sorrell, head of the Alabama Concrete Industry Association, reiterated Tuberville’s robust defense of Alabama’s economic interests. “During his tenure in the U.S. Senate, Coach Tuberville has proven to be an unwavering advocate for our state, consistently opposing policies detrimental to our business climate,” Sorrell noted. “We believe he will carry this principled approach into his role as governor, with our member companies touching nearly every facet of Alabama’s economy, from home construction to infrastructure development.”

This endorsement illustrates significant backing from the business sector as the governor’s race heats up.
