I’m sure he won’t step into Drake like this…
Following the Los Angeles Lakers’ overtime victory over the New York Knicks, self-proclaimed King LeBron James appeared to be stepping up to ESPN legendary Stephen A. Smith.
James appeared visibly annoyed by Smith on the right in his face, and seemed to angrily chomp it with him, and things didn’t seem to finish well as LeBron walked out of the court with pure upset.
Shaking his head, Smith sat down after LeBron left.
The Lakers won the game, 113-109. (Related: Cha-Ching! Stephen A. Smith lands $100 million bags on ESPN: Report)
Social media detectives claiming to be a lip reading expert speculate that James said, “Please keep my son out of this sh*t.”
It’s not 100% clear why LeBron was offended by Smith, but Crucci Sports (James’s agency) warns Smith to step back from LeBron’s son Bronnie.
You can see the front and back between the two here.
Smith dealt with the situation Friday morning:

I’m going to ensure that LeBron James doesn’t step into Drake, the greatest rapper in modern history.
And the man came out with a diss track to the “King.” I haven’t heard of a diss track from Stephen A!

Give the same energy against Toronto mob boss LeBron!
I’m not going to see that tough guy with 57-year-old Stephen A. Smith.
