Lee Williams’ High School wrestlers win big | Kingman Daily Miner

Last month at the Joseph City Invitational, Lee Williams won multiple players and won the championship.

Lady Vol Nevah Flemmons is the women’s 126lb class champion and had a perfect 7-0 record in the tournament.

Maya Mazon finished fourth in the women’s 107-pound division.

On the men’s side, Matthew Mazon was fourth with 132 pounds and Ethan Arnie was fourth with 113 pounds.

Patrick Panagapoulos finished second in the men’s 120-pound division with a record of 6-1.

Mojave 63, Lee Williams 56

KINGMAN – The Mojave narrowly beat Lee Williams, 63-56, in the boys’ high school basketball game on Thursday, Jan. 12.

Lee Williams went 4-5 overall and 3-4 in the Grand Canyon Conference. Mohave improved to his 5 = 7 overall and he went 4-6 in the conference.

Mojave Accelerated 67, Kingman Academy 55

Kingman – Kingman Academy High School’s men’s basketball came to Mohave Accelerated on Thursday, January 12, in a 67-55 loss.

Kingman Academy went on a three-game losing streak to go 7-5 overall. Mohave Accelerated is 8-3.

Lee Williams 47, Mojave 16

BULLHEAD CITY – A tenacious defense saw Lee Williams hold Mojave to just 16 points. The Lady Vols won the women’s basketball game where he won 47-16.

Freshman Addison Prisciandarro led the Lady Vols with 13 points, while senior Rebecca Alave had a team-high five steals and two blocked shots.

Lee Williams, who was ranked 9th in the state in Class 4A, improved to 8-1 overall and 6-1 in the Grand Canyon Conference with the win. Mohave went 3-9 overall and 2-8 in the conference.

Lee Williams 59, Shadow Mountain 7

The Kingman-Lee Williams High School women’s basketball team held Shadow Mountain to just seven points before a 59-7 home victory on Friday, January 13.

Lee Williams improved to 9-1 overall with an easy win. Shadow Mountain went 0-9 and he went winless.

Kingman Gakuen 48, Mojave Accelerated 24

Kingman – The Kingman Academy of Learning High School women’s basketball team doubled up Mohave Accelerated at home on Thursday to win 48-24.

Ranked 20th in the state in Class 3A, Kingman Academy improved to 7-5 overall in wins and 6-1 in the 2A West Conference. Mohave Accelerated, who had won four of their last five games, were eliminated 8-3.

Women’s soccer

Lee Williams 3, Flagstaff 2

Kingman-Lee Williams High School’s women’s soccer team continued its impeccable form on Thursday, January 12, with a 3-2 win over visiting Flagstaff.

The Lady Vols improved to 6-0 after Flagstaff broke Lee Williams’ three-game shutout streak. Lady Vols ranks #1 in the state in Class 4A.

Peoria 3, Lee Williams 2

Peoria – Lee Williams High School’s men’s soccer team went 0-5-2 for the season after defeating Peoria High School in Peoria in a 3-2 decision on Friday, January 13. No statistics were available.
